National role | Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide

Build the future of Australia’s tech ecosystem.

As Group Executive – Operations, you’ll strengthen how Stone & Chalk plans, prioritises and delivers work at scale.

You’ll run the engine room of the organisation, shaping how we operate day to day and how we deliver value to founders, partners and government.

You’ll set shared operating standards across our hubs, lift service quality, and enable teams through better systems, tools and automation. You’ll also oversee technology, governance and operational reporting, giving leaders clear data-driven information to act with confidence.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll sit on the Leadership Team and lead operations nationally across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

About you

  • Have operated in governance-heavy environments, including reporting, risk management, and audit-adjacent work.
  • Lead high-performing teams by coaching, challenging, and building up others.

  • Operate in a hands-on, decisive way, simplifying complexity, driving work to completion, and staying calm under pressure.
  • Manage stakeholders confidently across government, corporate partners, founders, and internal teams.
  • Enjoy building systems that scale and improve over time, using digital tools, automation, and disciplined data to enable better work.
  • Support teams to adopt new tools safely and productively, keeping technology focused on business outcomes.

Experience in innovation ecosystems, member-based organisations, startups, government-funded programs or purpose-led organisations will be well regarded.
