Stone & Chalk has partnered with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) to launch the CAANZ Innovation Challenge to solve major taxation and financial sector issues.
We are calling on all innovators who want to develop real-world solutions and develop their business offering.
Taxation and compliance are becoming more complex, with manual processes, outdated systems, and cybersecurity risks creating inefficiencies for accountants and businesses.
CAANZ is seeking scalable, innovative solutions to tackle three key challenges. For startups, this is a rare chance to:

We encourage Stone & Chalk residents to participate in the program, and applications from external startups are also welcome.
Those selected into the program will work on three critical problems impacting the finance sector, businesses of all sizes, and every day Australians.

To apply, please submit an Expression of Interest by 5pm Tuesday 11 March and tell us how your technology can solve one or more of the three problem statements.
If you are submitting for multiple problem statements, please fill out separate EOIs.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 21 March and invited to attend a deep dive workshop on Wednesday 26 March.
The challenge will culminate in a final panel presentation, where applicants will have the chance to present their solutions to industry leaders.
